waves???
Waves are
disturbances which propagate (move) through a medium.
Note: Light is
a special case, it exhibits wave-like properties but does not require a
medium through which to propagate.
Characteristic of waves :
1. Amplitude
2. Wavelength
3. Period and Frequency
4. Speed
Two types of waves :
1. Longitudinal waves
2. Transverse waves
